Information Session: Program Overview June 18

Join us on Tuesday, June 18, at noon CT, to meet UIC's Online Measurement, Evaluation, Statistics and Assessment (MESA) program director and enrollment specialists!
Learn about the following:
- Program and Course Overview by MESA Professor and Program Director, Dr. Everett Smith
- Application Steps by MESA Enrollment Specialist, Jonathan Biviano
- Financial Aid Overview by UIC Assistant Director of Financial Aid, Bianca Sanchez
There will also be time to receive answers to any questions you have about the programs.
In the MESA research programs you will learn to:
- Gain theoretical knowledge about measurement, evaluation, statistics and assessment.
- Apply skills to design research proposals, create an evaluation plan, analyze data using a variety of statistical models to test hypotheses, and assess the reliability of the data and the inferences drawn from the data.
- Gain hands-on experience with the major computer programs for quantitative and qualitative analyses and measurement construction such as SPSS, SAS, MPlus, HLM, Winsteps, Conquest, IRTPro, Parscale, eRm, Facets, R, GENOVA, and Atlas.
